The videos of the first week offer some basic elements to understand the history of synodality. They start from the genesis and experience of the first Christian communities, continuing with the tradition of the Church, especially the practice of the first centuries, and ending with its contemporary reception from the celebration of Synods, before and after the Second Vatican Council up to the present time. This week offers the historical framework of the Church’s tradition upon which this way of being and operating of the Church is founded and developed. At the end of the week, concrete and lively experiences that are being carried out in the different continents will be shared.
